Coven Craft Night: Altar Pinch Pots (Maplewood, NJ)

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the timeless art of pinch pottery using simple, grounding techniques. We’ll be working with air-dry clay to create small vessels that can serve as intention bowls, tealight holders, or offering dishes for your altar. Along the way, you’ll be encouraged to press herbs, carve sigils, or embed crystals to make your piece uniquely yours.

Pinch pots are one of humanity’s oldest crafts, and in witchy lore, clay connects us directly to the element of Earth, a symbol of grounding, stability, and transformation. Whether you come for the creativity, the mindfulness, or the magic, you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade piece that holds your personal intention.
